Dr. Vincent, a board certified surgeon, graduated from Oregon Health Sciences and the University of Alabama obtaining both medical and dental degrees. Lori Harris has over 14 years experience in business management and consulting in the retail, restaurant, software development, telecommunications, and consumer packaged goods industries. Ms. Harris was Managing Director of Professional Services at QuantumShift (now MSS Group). While there she was responsible for client management and sales support for over 100 national clients. That’s just a nice way of saying – she was telling other people how to run their businesses long before she decided to try her own hand at it. Ms. Harris was serving as consultant to Maya Moon Handbag Designs and on one summer day Ms. Moon told the aspiring entrepreneur, “Lori, this town needs a shoe store not a wine bar.” Right then Lori tossed the plan for the wine bar in the trash and started thinking shoes. But little girls patented leather shoes weren’t the real inspiration for the store’s name. One day Lori took her pet pug, Clyde, to the park.
