Ali M. Mosharrafa, M.D. – Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Mosharrafa is pleased with the progress Lisa has made after receiving, an eyelid lift, breast implants and breast lift, tummy tuck and liposuction to the back of her waist area. Dr. Trent W. Smallwood – Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Smallwood saw Lisa for the first time on September 17th.  At this appointment he examined her for any complicating factors which he was pleased to find were very minimal. He evaluated her for how he thought she would handle the procedure and looked at any bite issues she might have. He stated she was an excellent candidate for the application of veneers. He is very excited and thinks her smile will be phenomenal. Also in this first appointment they decided on the shape and shade of the teeth. Dr. Smallwood informed Lisa about what she could expect at her next appointment (October 20th) where they will prepare her teeth. Also based on all the information Dr. Smallwood and his associate Dr. Elannan have idealized for Lisa’s smile, a prototype of Lisa’s new the smile has been made. They will then superimpose that model into her mouth on the Oct 20th appointment to see exactly where her smile is at that point. Dr. Erica Elannan - Cosmetic Dentist

Dr. Erica Elannan obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at age of 23 making her one of the youngest practicing dentists in the United States.  She developed her aesthetic skills and artistic vision through, completing a Cosmetic Internship located in Phoenix, Arizona, conducted by Dr. Smallwood.  Holding board certifications in multiple states, she began her career by opening a Cosmetic Surgery Center in St.Augustine Florida.  Through Dr. Elannan’s research, she has originated a product line and book series, which provides the solution to the widespread Caries Epidemic.  Her fervency has thus brought her to unite once again with her most respected colleague and former instructor Dr. Smallwood, to share in the passion of private practice.  Their goal is to ultimately change lives and awaken inner self-confidence one smile at a time.

Rebecca Weiss, D.O. – Medical Spa

Dr. Weiss preformed dermal filler injections for Lisa’s lips, creases around the mouth and nose along with one her signature Detox facial treatments to clear pores and rejuvenate skin in preparation for upcoming laser treatments. Lisa’s had laser hair removal for the lip and chin and will have additional hair removal sessions throughout the make-over. Dr. Weiss stated that Lisa was a real trooper in her appointment with a dental block necessary for doing the lip filler.  Lisa will be receiving laser treatments for facial rejuvenation and collagen stimulation. She’ll also receive photo facials to even out her skin’s complexion and tone, help target sun damage and modify brown spots and redness. Botox is planned closer to her reveal. An important element of Dr. Weiss’s program with Lisa is addressing her whole person. She is happy that Lisa is open to experiencing some acupuncture treatments for her face as well as all the other more traditional offerings she has been receptive to. Jacky Burke ATC, CSCS, CPT - Exercise

Jacky Burke says she is very excited about Lisa’s progress. Lisa did so well with her pre-surgery exercise routine that she lost 12 lbs of body fat and 3 ¼ inches in her waist measurement. Once Lisa began her surgical process, all exercise needed to be suspended. But Jackie believes that Lisa built a strong enough exercise base that she will maintain the progress she made prior to surgery. 

Lisa reported that Jackie comes to her home for her workout sessions and has involved other family members in the process. Jackie said it was great working Lisa, her mother and sister. She believes getting the family involved is important.

One of the things Lisa and her plastic surgeon decided against was doing any surgical correction of the inner thighs so Jackie developed some special exercises for that area. Another thing Lisa wanted to change about her body was to manifest a bigger “behind.” Post surgery Jackie intends to work with Lisa to give that area lots of attention in order to gain muscle mass. Jackie sends well wishes for a speedy recovery for Lisa and looks forward to getting back in the swing of the exercise program Lisa is so willing to participate in. Jackie says it is a pleasure to work with Lisa because she is such a self starter and follows her exercise program with enthusiasm.

Jacky Burke earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Hartwick College in NY.  Also at Harwick, she was an athletic trainer, worked as a fitness instructor in an orthopedic and physical therapy clinic and completed an internship under an orthopedic surgeon.  Jacky received her Master’s degree at Colorado State University in Exercise and Sport Science and was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Exercise and Sport Science department.  While in Colorado, Jacky severed as an athletic trainer and strength coach for Men’s Baseball and Ice Hockey teams.  In FL she was the Director of Aquatic Therapy for the Kissimmee Physical Therapy clinic and co-managed the Women’s Wellness Center in Orlando.  After moving to AZ she began her own in-home personal training business.  She is an instructor at Paradise Valley and Scottsdale Community Colleges, teaching Exercise Science classes.  Jacky also is a guest lecturer at Arizona State University.  She is certified by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
