Park City, UT 2006 – The Beauty Show, the ultimate TV show for the beauty and spa scene, brought the spa industry to Hollywood press and celebrities by creating a Spa Pavilion at the Sundance Film Festival. Among those seen seeking respite in the pavilion included Jerry Penacoli, Pierce Brosnin, Snoop Dog, Minnie Driver, Crispin Glover, David Schwimmer, Jenny McCarthy and Pamela Sue Anderson.
Attendees enjoyed complimentary treatments such as: Facials from SpaMedica, given inside a pod from Sybaritic which indulged celebs with massage, heat and aromatherapy during treatments; cellular rejuvenation and an energy boost were found inside of Energy Enhancement System’s Scalar Wave Lounge; tension relieving trigger point therapy was given by The Beauty Show’s resident masseur, Paul Honsvick; and insight into the spa world was found inside Healing Lifestyles and Spas magazine seen by hundreds of Sundance attendees.
For après-Sundance spaification, The Beauty Show gave free spa gift bags packed with goodies from Kerstin Florian, Teeccino Herbal Coffee, Teaology, Aroma Naturals Candles, Moor Spa, CreativeSpa, Frownies and DDF. Red Mountain Spa provided celebrities with a four day stay, including Leonardo De Caprio via The Beauty Show’s Celebrity Concierge Program.
The Beauty Show is the only television show focused on spa-related health, fashion, fitness and beauty news. The show can be seen via in-flight programming and is in a full launch with cable and satellite channels.
