Now celebrating ten years of production, “The Beauty Show” is a half hour “feature magazine TV show,” which uses editorial personality with CNN-like credibility to deliver the latest and best information in beauty trends, celebrity beauty tips, makeovers, spa, resort, fitness, and fashion news with the look and feel of entertainment programs like “Extra” and “Access Hollywood.”
The Beauty Show TV has been distributed through The Turner Group, Comcast Cable, ION TV and Entertainment in Motion, the worlds’ largest in-flight media distribution company. Concurrently, the programming is streaming on The Beauty Show’s WEB TV and eight other video centric social networking sites.
The Beauty Show programming is produced by US-based A BIG Production Company, which is a “new media” company leading the way in solutions for “new model” television programming and advertising by producing content that can be versioned or customized to build brands through the integration of delivering branded TV media platforms.

Maria Camille: Founder and Executive Producer
Camille, Executive Producer of A BIG Production Company and The Beauty Show TV Series began her beauty industry career when she founded the magazine Dateline Beauty in the mid 90’s.Taking the beauty industry to a new level in marketing, Dateline Beauty was the first “beauty industry” magazine of it’s kind. The magazine was produced to disseminate information to the public about cosmetic surgery, cosmeceuticals, dermatology, spa treatments and more. During this time, Camille became instrumental in helping to establish standards of public education on cosmetic surgery and the meaning of medical board certifications. In 2000, Camille took the concept of the Dateline Beauty Magazine and brought it into an interactive, news-magazine formatted television show called The Beauty Show.
A BIG Production Company is the first company within the beauty niche market to produce an interactive series produced from the “ground up,” strictly for the spa, resort, beauty, health, fashion and fitness markets.
Prior to entering the beauty business, Ms. Camille led a dual life of International business (American International Resources and Marketing) in Europe while beginning her media career as a pivotal prime-mover in producing extreme sports TV productions with assignments that have taken her into East Iran Jiaya, New Guniea and all European nations throughout Europe to Yugoslavia. Concurrently, Camille was competing in International world competitions for the U.S. Parachute Team and was the first American woman to win gold medals in both the Style and Accuracy competitions for the U.S. Camille has now taken what she learned from extreme sports and internal martial arts and put together the first exercise/spa program which is being used within Destination Spa Resorts. Anthony William Newby DBA: Marketing Officer
Anthony is Chief Marketing Manager of The Beauty Show and is developing PR and marketing strategies to expand distribution of The Beauty Show into the burgeoning China market. The Beauty Show had previously distributed content to China Airlines and is now launching a pilot TV series to reach the worlds’ largest female market – a staggering 420 million women who buy beauty products.
Anthony attended Macquarie University in Sydney. It was here that he commenced a love affair with academia completing undergraduate degrees in Marketing, Economics, an MBA and DBA over the following sixteen years. All while working full-time building a successful business career. Anthony’s first business venture was the founding of a small courier company. This business was very successful and it was here Anthony developed a computerized manifest tracking system called “ManiTrack”. The computer application was subsequently licensed and sold to several leading transport carriers. In 1986, the courier company was sold to Federal Express and was their first acquisition since entering the Australian market months earlier.
Anthony joined American Express in 1987 as Sales and Marketing Brand Manager for the South Pacific Islands. Anthony was quickly promoted to more senior Sales, Marketing and Strategic Planning positions during the following ten years. In 1997 Anthony was offered a promotion to Director and a chance to work in the United States. He accepted the position as Director of Global Sales and Marketing for Travelers Checks and Prepaid Services Division based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The following year Anthony was promoted to Vice President Global Sales Development and relocated to New York City. In this role Anthony oversaw a $6 million marketing and media budget and a $1.3 billion client portfolio. Anthony directly managed a team of forty sales and marketing professionals and indirectly managed over two hundred call center representatives across the globe. This was a critical role and responsible for building the global brand for prepaid and gifting products and driving distribution sales. Anthony was very successful in this role and his responsibilities were expanded to include the online prepaid sales channel and corporate Incentive Card sales and marketing. During this period Anthony was a three-time Grand Achiever and President Club recipient for break-through, significant and sustainable business contributions.
In 2005 Anthony retired from American Express due to family reasons and returned to Salt Lake City. With an understanding that retirement simply meant redirecting your energies, Anthony built an Aveda retail store and full service hair salon. At the end of 2006, Anthony merged this business with a larger Aveda salon network that also owned and operated several Black Chandelier retail clothing stores as well as downtown Salt Lake City commercial properties. This enabled Anthony to assume more of a business consulting and strategic planning role.
Jes Ryn: Production Manager
Jes Ryn, entrepreneur, writer and life coach, started her production career with The Beauty Show from the beginning of its conception ten years ago. Ryn has worked from the ground up to learn every detail in building the concept of The Beauty Show and its programming. Concurrently, Ryn has been the grounding force for the many women who have gone through tryouts and makeovers during the TV series with its many emotional aspects. In addition, Ryn authors the voiceover script for The Beauty Show’s Makeover TV Series.
Catherine Swinscoe: Operations Manager - Product Development Manager
Catherine Swinscoe is Operations Manager and Development Manager for product development of The Beauty Show's entrance into launching proprietary beauty products, VIP Beauty Club incentive programs and events worldwide. Catherine has conceived, designed, planned, teamed and accomplished successful businesses around the world for over 25 years specializing in strategic, profitable & sustainable development of world class wellness facilities, spas, product development and destination resorts.
A visionary and entrepreneur, Swinscoe studied (and continues to research) spa therapies and spa management in Britain, France and Germany 27 years ago. She then opened one of the first full facility spas in British Columbia, Canada in 1981. After nine successful years, located in a city center hotel, she sold her business to begin her consulting career.
In 2001, Swinscoe was offered the position of Corporate Director of Spa Operations for Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in Toronto, Canada. For three years, she developed the Standards and Operational guidelines for Fairmont’s new spa brand, Willow Stream and was responsible for International quality assurance guidelines and protocols, resulting in a superior customer service experience. She researched and brought into the company the latest and most innovative spa and fitness equipment in the world. She also implemented successful retail operations. Swinscoe was involved in the opening of the first six Willow Stream spas – Bermuda, Mexico, Dubai, Alberta, British Columbia and Scottsdale AZ, before leaving Fairmont to focus on her spa consulting firm.
Her most recent project is a $multi-million Destination Spa in Acapulco, Mexico. Swinscoe was instrumental in solidifying the strong concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine and infusing it with the Healing Arts of the Mexican culture. She hired a TCM doctor from Beijing and, along with overseeing design and operational efficiencies, ensures that the concept stays central to the food and beverage department, spa treatments, clinic therapies, guest suites and landscape.
